What to expect
The泭program consists of 40泭courses泭which can be completed in approximately four泭years if taken on a full-time basis. Evening and daytime classes are held predominantly at the Interurban campus and the program can be taken on a part-time basis.
Year 1
In your first year, youll work through introductorylevel courses in accounting, finance, economics, and marketing. Exit the program now with a泭Business Administration certificate泭棗娶 continue on to Year 2.
Year 2
In your second year, you'll take courses in financial accounting, statistics, corporate finance, and business law. Exit the program now with a泭Business Administration diploma泭棗娶 continue on to Year 3.
Year 3
In your third year, you'll continue your studies in financial and management cost accounting and auditing.
Year 4
For your fourth year, you'll be taking courses in accounting theory, income tax, applied professional practice泭in order to graduate with a泭Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting major.
Co-operative Education option泭
Apply your classroom skills in the workplace and bring your workplace skills back to the classroom!泭泭When you engage in co-operative education, you get an early start on preparing for your career after graduation! You will have the opportunity to alternate between full-time studies and full-time paid work where you can bring your applied classroom learning to life.
To participate in Co-operative Education, prior to your first work term you will need to successfully complete
- Eight (8) first year courses, with a cumulative泭GPA泭of 3.0 (C+), and
- the workshop series泭CDEV-WPS
