Chris Hardcastle earned a B.A. in philosophy and J.D. from UBC, and an M.A. from SFU. Chris was admitted to the British Columbia Bar in 2006 and continues to manage a part-time practice in the areas of corporate law and real estate with Sitka Law.

Chris also has experience working for a large, national firm as a securities lawyer and was involved in corporate finance transactions representing public companies, as well as underwriters and agents, witha focus on the mining and energy sectors. He also routinely advised clients on ongoing corporate and securities compliance matters, and corporate governance.

In addition to his law practice, Chris taught at Camosun, first, on a part-time basis in the summer of 2022 and joined the School of Business as a full-time instructor in the summer of 2023.
