On Friday, Jan. 21, 2022, the Provincial Health Officer sent a letter to the college and university presidents regarding the continuation of on-campus instruction for post-secondary institutions.
In theletter, Dr. Bonnie Henry advises that we continue to see lower risk in structured seated settings and given the disproportionate adverse impacts of the pandemic on our young adults we are urged to prioritize on-campus instruction. You can read a copy of the letterhere.
The college continues to monitor the situation and take a public-health informed approach, including direction from the Provincial Health Officer, BC Government, Island Health and WorkSafeBC.
To continue to provide a safe campus environment, there are several steps we can all take:
