Award description

The Anthany Dawson Justice Award was established in the memory of KwakwaKa'wakw artist, Anthany Dawson, who died, tragically, in 1999.

Anthany James Dawson was born September 21, 1969 and, tragically, lost his life while in police custody on August 13, 1999.
