Award description

To recognize a student who completes one or more academic upgrading courses at the Foundations Level. The student demonstrated academic success while conquering adversity through persistence. 

Criteria

Preference will be given to a descendant of a current or former member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Canadian Armed Forces Veterans, or Royal Canadian Mounted Police Veterans. The award will be periodized to an individual with a financial need. If no qualified descendant applies, the award may be given to any deserving student.
