Award description

This award is to recognize an Indigenous student in any program who demonstrates leadership.

This student will demonstrate an ability to excel in customer service, shows interest in sustainability, displays strong teamwork, and has shown community involvement. Applicants must include a personal letter that speaks to their eligibility and a letter of reference from an employer or community leader.

Criteria

You must:

  • be currently registered as a student at 51Թapp
  • have Indigenous (First Nations, Métis, Inuit, or Native American) ancestry
  • have a GPA of 2.5 or equivalent
  • demonstrate an ability to excel in customer service
  • demonstrate interests for sustainability, strong teamwork, and community involvement
  • include a personal letter that speaks to their eligibility and a letter of reference from an employer or community leader
  • complete the application form
